The CEA Rising Young Professional Award was renamed to honor the memory and legacy of Harold L. Morrison who served as the first CEA Registrar from 1993 to 2010. Mr. Morrison was also one of the founding Board members and acted as the Treasurer before taking on the title of Registrar. CEA defines a young professional, the YP, as an engineer, technologist or geo-scientist working for a CEA member firm with up to 10 years of experience in their respective field. The Harold L. Morrison Rising Young Professional Award recognizes our greatest strength, “Our future leaders”. This award recognizes the outstanding achievements in the young professional’s career to date.
