McElhanney supported the City of Calgary (CoC) achieve its vision for the Streetscape Master Plan for 1st Avenue NE, located in Bridgeland. The CoC was seeking services from an experienced multi-disciplinary consulting team to improve the public realm, sidewalks, landscaping, and corridor of 1st Avenue NE and the adjacent segments of Edmonton Trail NE and 4th Street NE, while preserving the history of the community and leveraging on the existing assets. The work completed and on-going will enhance the quality of the public realm for current and future residents.

The tour will showcase the completed phase and therefore there will not be construction activities occurring nearby. Personal protective equipment will not be required.
